Skincare after holidays

Sun, sand and wind dry your skin and make it look old and tired.
Even though you are relaxed and full of energy after having some great time,
your skin may need special treatment.

Take a bath

Prepare hot bath. Add 1 cup of salt scrub (ex. Orange Salt Scrub) to warm water.
It is filled with essential oils that have detoxifying properties.
You can also have some lavender essential oil to hot water. Having done it soak for at least 20 minutes.
After bath apply rich body butter all over your body to comfort and nourish your skin.


Hydrate both from the outside and from the inside.
Drinking lots of water is good for you. Make sure you get at least 2 litres a day.
Your skin appears dry and dull due to all: sweating, drinking alcohol and sun bathing.

Apply moisturisers to keep the moisture in your skin longer.
You should use repairing products that contain shea butter.
This active ingredient helps with absorption and hydration of the skin.


Peel off gently dead skin cells. Don't scrub your skin as long as it is red or irritated.
You can start exfoliating when your skin is brown and doesn't hurt.
Peeling off dead layers will reveal the new, tanned, skin underneath.
Use only gentle coffee scrubs and don't massage to hard. Exfoliation should not hurt.

Do it regularly

Doing it once is better than never, however doing it regularly is best.
Try to set your beauty rituals and repeat them frequently so that you can be sure that your skin will be beautiful all year long.
